NRF joins unified and aligned NZF brand


Northern Region Football is changing its brand today, aligning us more closely with the football whānau throughout New Zealand.  

It’s part of a wider initiative to collaborate and share services throughout the game, to be more efficient and serve our members better.  You’ll see it first on our website and social media and in more places in time.

Why change the brand? 

Our new brand has a fresh look and strong story behind it - the colours strongly align with what we have now, which helps provide continuity.  

When will the new brand roll out? 

It starts today with our online identity, including our website and social media channels.  The new brand will be phased in over time for physical assets like clothing and vehicle signage. For example, you’ll still see the NRF team in clothing with the legacy brand logos until they’re refreshed through the standard clothing replacement cycle.  

What will this cost Northern Region Football? 

Costs for the brand identity and design work are provided by New Zealand Football as part of the unified brand for NZF and all federations.  

Will you scrap any old branded assets?

We’re looking at creating some cool stuff with the new brand from now, but we’re not going to waste any good assets with legacy logos on them through this process.
