First Team Football Coach Vacancy - Albany United Football Club (AUFC)

Albany United Football Club is seeking a passionate and experienced First Team Football Coach to lead our senior men's team for the upcoming season. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic club with a strong commitment to developing local talent and fostering a competitive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the First Team, including training sessions, matchday preparation, and tactical strategies.
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to improve player performance.
  • Work closely with the club’s committee and other coaches to ensure seamless integration across all teams.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, encouraging player development at all levels.
  • Represent the values and vision of Albany United Football Club both on and off the field.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven coaching experience at a competitive level.
  • Minimum NZF C Licence 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate players.
  • A passion for football and commitment to the long-term success of the team.

Key Requirements:

  • OFC/NZF B License (or equivalent)
  • Experience in youth and women’s football development
  • Strong leadership and program management skills
  • Eligible to live and work in NZ
